Founder

David R. Hobbs is the founder of HTR Capital LLC a private investment firm focus on investing in quality businesses in the lower middle market.

David has over 20 years of experience in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and capital markets. Prior to founding HTR Capital he was a managing partner at Brick Investment Partners LLC. Prior to that he was a senior M&A professional at Citigroup focused on the global oil & gas and transportation sectors. Early in his career he had sole P&L responsibility for UBS’ (formerly Swiss Bank/O’Connor) Canadian swaps and libor-based options portfolio.

David currently lives in Princeton, New Jersey with his wife and two children.

Tiffany Hu

Head of Business Development

Tiffany has over ten years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance.

Prior to HTR Capital, she was the Director of Business Development at Colonnade Advisors, a mergers and acquisitions investment bank focused on lower middle market transactions. Before Colonnade, Tiffany was on the Investor Relations team at Thoma Bravo, a software-focused private equity firm. Before that, Tiffany was on the research team at Mesirow Advanced Strategies, a hedge fund of funds.

Tiffany began her career at Morgan Stanley, where she held various roles in the firm’s Corporate Treasury group in New York and London. Tiffany received a BS magna cum laude in Finance and Accounting from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
